Bugaboo Cameleon Base Unit and Carrycot (3 in 1 Travel System)

The Bugaboo Cameleon offers the ultimate in versatility for parents who want it all. The unique modular design adapts easily to your family's needs. The carrycot allows babies to lie flat and as they get older (up to 17kg) you can quickly covert to the reversible seat with 3-position tilt. How to buy a fully functional Bugaboo Cameleon: Step 1 - The base unit. Select the base unit, it's available in 5 colours or in denim. You'll find the options in the drop down menu above; simply make your choice and add it to your basket. Step 2 - The tailored fabric. For a fully functional Bugaboo you must also purchase a tailored fabric, available separately in various different colours. These can also be selected from the drop-down menus (top right). And that’s it! Mix and match the colourful combinations to create a Cameleon that's unique to you, ensuring you have purchased 1 base + 1 tailored fabric . (Both components make a complete Bugaboo Cameleon as seen in our catalogues). Want to know more? Read on... The Cameleon had a strong yet lightweight aluminium frame for the seat/carrycot and the chassis folds down into two lightweight pieces for transport or storage. The highly adaptable chassis can be used with the small wheels forward for easy turns or with the larger wheels at the front for uneven terrain. The adjustable suspension ensures a smooth ride on any surface and the adjustable one piece handlebar makes sure you stroll comfortably. You can even tuck the handlebars underneath to create a chair, wheel the Cameleon with two wheels on sand or snow or use the carry handle to move baby from the chassis without disturbing sleep. The carrycot can also be used separately. It has an Aerosleep® mattress to keep your baby cool and protected from dust, pollen and house dust mites. Both the carrycot and the seat have machine washable fabric. The tailored fabrics don’t just look good - they help to keep your baby warm when the weather’s cold and cool when it’s hot.
